Annie was working as a Learning Specialist at the federal Department of Global Affairs Canada when she suffered a stroke in October 2020.

Three years later, after moving to Montreal, Annie finally joined Théâtre Aphasique. Since then, it has provided her with a sense of well-being, confidence, and a deep feeling of belonging.
